Plants might not be capable of locomotion, but they are very capable of motion.

Plants move around during the day, to position their leaves to get the most amount of sunlight, and to avoid other plants.

At night, they collect the glucose formed through photosynthesis from their leaves into the stems, causing them to look like they're "closing up" at night.

I took a time lapse of plants doing exactly this, filmed from 4:00AM to 6:30PM (if I remember correctly).
